„Miasto” to obraz przedstawiający kobietę nad miastem, która, choć przysłania swoją ręką oczy, widzi przez nią. Unoszące się bańki nad miastem symbolizują z jednej strony dziecięcą beztroskę kobiety, a z drugiej kruchość świata materialnego miasta. Kobieta jest beztroska, może trochę dziecinna, jednocześnie widzi coś więcej poza powierzchownością jaką daje codzienna rutyna osadzona w systemie materialnego świata. Rozumie ulotność życia i stara się (lub jest jej dane) widzieć więcej. Kiedy w mieście panuje noc, kobieta nie śpi.

„Miasto” („City”) is a painting depicting a woman above the city. Although she covers her eyes with her hand, she can still see through it. The bubbles floating above the city symbolize, on one hand, the woman’s childlike carefree nature, and on the other, the fragility of the material world of the city. She is carefree, perhaps a bit childish, yet she sees beyond the surface, beyond the daily routine grounded in the material system of the world. She understands the transience of life and strives (or is given the gift) to see more. While the city sleeps at night, the woman does not.
